Kia ora, I’m Rebecca

Ngā mihi nui, I have created this space to offer genuine treatments and simple effective beauty advice and to showcase some of the exquisite healing plants of Aotearoa.

I have loved breathing life into this wonderful space of tranquillity in the Tapley’s Shipping Building, in the heart of the coffee district 88 Vogel Street. It has been a pleasure to transform and I look forward to sharing it with you.

Tēnā koutou,

Rebecca.

From the beginning, I wanted to create a richer experience for women seeking beauty and relaxation regimes that are truly sustainable.

For our in-house treatments, we are committed to sourcing the best natural, raw, and clean ingredients that Aotearoa has to offer. Using these ingredients we deliver unique uplifting rituals, abundant with botanicals and minerals from native Aotearoa.  Our search has led us to many small bespoke people and businesses across New Zealand, creating and designing wonderful products. So much talent!

Our process is to continue to discover and engage as many small enterprises so we support each other and our collective mahi, growing stronger.

Our process

We pay homage to Rongoā Māori.

This ancient lore is prized for its holistic healing system and comprises diverse practices with an emphasis on the spiritual dimension of health. An individual can only be fully nourished when, like a whare, all four walls of wellbeing are strengthened and supported. The four walls of the whare represent:

Taha Wairua - Spiritual Well-being,

Taha Hinengaro - Mental and Emotional Well-being,

Taha Tinana - Physical Well-being,

Taha Whānau - Family and Social Well-being.

Our connection with the whenua-land forms the foundation.

When all these things are in balance, we thrive. When one or more of these is out of balance our well-being is impacted.
